History
- 1874 - start with industrial use of wood
- 1923 - another sawmill was set up at STIA´s current production premises.
- 1972 - foundation of STIA Holzindustrie GmbH (STIFT Admont) with 13 employees.
- 1979/80 - development of Natural Wood Panels
since 1989/90 - Launch of high quality wide planks „Admonter Natural Floors" - 2007 - the industrial group of Benediktinerstift Admont (Abbey of Admont) with STIA Holzindustrie employs more than 440 people and therefore is the most important employer in this region.
- 2008 - extension of the production - new production hall
- 2009 - presentation of the new product line "Design-Edition"
- Grand opening of Admonter Adventure Tour.
- 2012: Admonter celebrates its 40th anniversary and publishes the first ADORO magazine
